Inductees

To induct Elgin's outstanding athletes, coaches/administrators and friends of sports into the Elgin Sports Hall of Fame from candidates submitted by the general public and voted upon by the Foundation's membership. To raise money for the college student-athlete scholarship program. Scholarships are awarded to students that live in and/or attend high school in Elgin. Recipients are chosen in cooperation with athletic directors and coaching staffs at the various high schools. To formally present Achievement Awards and recognition to individuals and teams who have contributed to the success of Elgin's great sports history during the current year, or through a lifetime of contribution.
